One overarching question from the course I took this summer reads – If you had a blank slate and a blank check, what would education in the twenty-first century look like? Such a large and daunting question! I believe there are two parties in a classroom – the students and the teachers/professors/instructors. Our assignment for the weekly response was to design something in connection to our readings on education.

I designed an Instagram Story for my response. The targeted audience of my design are teachers/professors/instructors who want to branch into a new direction, emphasizing the importance of change in the education system. I thought I would engage with one of the active parties in the classroom setting. I believe these “different” education skills can create a lasting shift in the classroom and, hopefully, engage with students on a deeper, more meaningful level.
